• What Kind Of Licensing Do You Have?

We firmly believe that working with a company possessing a general contractor's license is a prudent choice to ensure you receive dependable roofing services. 

• Are You Licensed and Insured?

  Yes we are! Entrusting your project to a contractor without proper workman's compensation insurance  and licensing is a substantial risk. In the unfortunate event that an installer sustains an injury while working on your property and lacks workman's compensation insurance, you could potentially become liable for their medical expenses. Therefore, we find it imperative to be fully licensed and insured for any and all projects.

• Do You Offer A Warranty On Your Work?

  We offer two distinct types of warranties: one from the shingle manufacturer, and the other from our roofing contractors to guarantee their workmanship. The manufacturer's warranty is essentially a certification provided by the shingle maker, outlining the extent of coverage in case any defects arise. It's crucial to scrutinize the finer details of this warranty, as it often becomes prorated after a period of 10 to 15 years and may not encompass labor costs. However, it's worth noting that manufacturing defects are relatively rare, making this warranty somewhat less critical to assess. Additionally, bear in mind that the manufacturer's warranty can become void if the shingles are not installed in strict accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines.

  On the other hand, the roofing contractor's workmanship warranty is of paramount importance. It safeguards against poor installation techniques that could lead to leaks and other issues. This warranty holds particular significance because it addresses problems that are more commonly encountered. If you find any shortcomings in your roof installation, it's the roofing contractor who will return to rectify the situation, rather than the shingle manufacturer.

• Will I Have A Dedicated Project Manager?

  While some roofing contractors may not offer the added benefit of certified installers serving as dedicated project managers overseeing the proper installation of your roof, safeguarding your property and landscaping, and ensuring a thorough cleanup of the jobsite, ModCon Roofing Co. takes a proactive approach. We assign project managers to every jobsite, guaranteeing direct communication throughout the process to deliver a superior roofing experience.

• How Long Will My Project Take?

  Prior to finalizing any contract, it's crucial to pose this question and insist on documented confirmation: "What is the expected duration for completing the project?" Typically, a standard residential project can be accomplished within a single day. Nevertheless, various elements, including weather conditions and the roof's overall size and complexity, might potentially necessitate an extended timeframe of 2 to 3 days.
